push your limits!

We’re in training to take on the highest mountain in Wales to support local people dealing with cancer. And what’s more…we’ll be climbing at night!

We Get It’s Founder Laura and Manager Dee will be taking on the Snowdon at Night Challenge on Saturday 20th July 2024. And we want YOU to join them.

You are asked to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £40.00 when you book and raise a minimum of £345.00 for We Get It.

Beginning in the town of Llanberis, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, this spectacular challenge will see you join our team trekking to the top of Snowdon, reaching the summit just as the sun begins to rise over the park. Then it’s time to trek back down to the start where it will be time to relax and celebrate with a celebration breakfast!

We are partnering with Charity Challenge on this event and you will be fully supported all the way by their experienced Mountain Leaders.

Why the community needs us?

When you go through cancer diagnosis and treatment, you often feel a need for extra help when you step outside those hospital walls. Most of all, you need a way to connect with others who know how you feel.

At We Get It, we fill that gap, providing support, information and a vital community made up of local people who have been there and understand.

We offer get-togethers, workshops and events, as well as social media support groups and a website packed with resources. So whether you need to meet like-minded people or just want to get in touch online, we are there for you.

Our impact on the community

In just a year of operation, we’ve brought people together in a variety of ways: coffee mornings, pub nights, friends and family hangouts, workshops, plus special events tackling the cancer conversations that need to happen. We continue to connect people in our community to local services, practitioners or resources that can make a difference.

Your kind donation will help us spread the word to more people, so we can make dealing with cancer that little bit easier.
