Join the We Get It team and make a difference in our cancer community.

The month of May is extra special to We Get It because it’s the month we got our charity status. It’s also the month where the We Get It team pull on their trainers and run, walk or cycle 100k to raise awareness. All funds go towards supporting local people dealing with cancer, through goodie bags, socials, and special community events.

You can fundraise as an individual, a family or a team by setting up and circulating your own Local Giving page.

It’s free to enter and when you hit your 100k, we’ll send you a free We Get It T-shirt so you can show off your achievement in style.

If 100k isn’t for you, that’s ok. You can still support us by donating via our link – every penny helps us do more for the We Get It cancer community.

Why the community needs us?

When you go through cancer diagnosis and treatment, you often feel a need for extra help when you step outside those hospital walls. Most of all, you need a way to connect with others who know how you feel.

At We Get It, we fill that gap, providing support, information and a vital community made up of local people who have been there and understand.

We offer get-togethers, workshops and events, as well as social media support groups and a website packed with resources. So whether you need to meet like-minded people or just want to get in touch online, we are there for you.

Our impact on the community

In just a year of operation, we’ve brought people together in a variety of ways: coffee mornings, pub nights, friends and family hangouts, workshops, plus special events tackling the cancer conversations that need to happen. We continue to connect people in our community to local services, practitioners or resources that can make a difference.

Your kind donation will help us spread the word to more people, so we can make dealing with cancer that little bit easier.
