Sometimes, cancer can really change how you see yourself. Rediscover You, our first event in our More Than Cancer series, was designed to offer those attending the chance opportunity to reconnect with themselves beyond their diagnosis.
The evening brought together six women living with or beyond cancer for a special experience focused on confidence, self-expression and celebrating who they are.
Working alongside the wonderful teams at BA1 Hair and Look Good Feel Better, and photographer Darius Jéan, we created an evening of hair consultations, make-up advice and beautiful portrait photography.
There were smiles, laughter, honest conversations and a few tears along the way. Above all, it was about taking time for themselves and seeing themselves in a new light.
It wasn't about changing who anyone was. It was about celebrating the person they already are, beyond cancer.
